Ah hello my worsted weight loving friend. I too love a good worsted weight yarn, and that's why I need to tell you about this one. I am KIND OF A SNOB when it comes to worsted and bulky yarns. I want good stitch definition. If it splits when I am trying to knit it, I will throw it away. And if my hands don't have a good time using it, TRASH. That's why this yarn doesn't split, has amazing stitch definition and is on the light side of worsted. So if you are a sport weight person, you will find this yarn to be great. And for my dye-hard worsted friends, this lightweight is perfect for your summer and fall projects. Do not despair!
They dye is an acid-dye base, but don't let the word acid frighten you. I use citric acid with the wool, that's food grade! Check out any fruit flavored candy and you will see "citric acid" as one of the ingredients. The wool also gets washed after each dye to prevent staining of the garment or your hands.

Lastly, I bet you are wondering how you wash your finished project? Use a wool-specific wash that doesn't require rinsing and wash by hand. I also like to air out my garments on a clothes line in the back yard. Do NOT put it in a traditional washer and dryer. Never heat dry the finished project. Unless you want it to be about 10x smaller than the original.
